what!!!!

So I'm 17 almost 18 i might add and my parents and family have to go to Austin for My older brothers birthday. unfortunately i cant go because i have a job and school. So my mother wants to leave me with a babysitter!!! I am practically and adult now and I'm being treated like a child!!! i guess its just frustrating not to mention i don't drive so i cant even get out and keep myself busy. Any mothers out there that think this is ridiculous or is it just us young adults!
